Are you a student or professional interested in attending an Ivy League school, a parent who is interested in sending your child to an Ivy League College, or an educational researcher? Our team believes that having access to reliable data about matriculation to the ancient eight is a helpful indicator for comparing high schools or colleges in preparation for admission to Ivy League graduate programs. We started by using highly accurate source information to approximate the percentage of high graduates attending the Ivies (based on currently enrolled undergraduates). While we can't guarantee that data is 100% correct due to a variety of factors, our experts painstakingly did the best that we could to arrive at the largest "feeders" to the Ivies based on highly reliable information on the count and percentage of secondary school students attending Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, U Pennsylvania, and Yale. We approximate that this high school data is 93% accurate based on our statistical methodology and the quality of our research. For our graduate and professional school Ivy League placement, we took a well-sourced representative sample from top programs, and we can therefore say our data there however is completely precise and representative. It is important to note that there are obviously other highly selective and elite colleges and grad schools across the country beyond the Ivy League and of course there will be a bias in our school rankings towards educational institutions in the Northeastern United States due to the nature of our rankings and the geography, so it is important to consider that when evaluating our lists or reports.
